The
unfinished tomb was discovered in 1817 by Giovanni Battista Belzoni containing number of intrusive burials,
probably of XXIInd dynasty date. Montuherkhopshef, a son of Ramesses IX
was buried at Ramesses X's reign. Before him the tomb had been intended
as a royal gift for a prince named Ramesses Sethherkhopshef. On each
side of the first corridor, were painted seven scenes showing
Montuherkhopshef worshipping and offering to the various gods.
